About Collingwood Mourton

Adam Collingwood  Director, Cert PFS, MIFP

Adam qualified as a Financial Advisor back in 1997 and is a member of The Institute of Financial Planning.  Since then he has gained a wealth of experience whilst advising at Eagle Star (now Zurich) Bristol & West and R J Temple.

He set up Collingwood Mourton Associates Ltd in 2002, and has seen the business go from strength to strength thanks to the enduring relationships he has built with many of his clients over the years.

Adam is married to Linda, has a son Sam, born in March 2007 and a daughter Ella born in March 2008.

Christine Winters  PA

Christine has been involved in the financial sector for the past 24 years. She previously managed a sub branch for the C&G and was a PA for an Independent Financial Advisor, before joining Collingwood Mourton Associates in 2005.  With her vast experience in all aspects of IFA administration, Christine’s knowledge of the financial industry continues to be indispensable to Adam and Chris in the effective day to day running of Collingwood Mourton Associates.   

Christine has a very busy life – in addition to working full time she is also married to Mark and they have 3 children aged from 10 – 25.   Interests outside work include the theatre, swimming and cake decoration.

Russell Barnes  Administrative Support

Russell has been working in the financial services industry for 16 years – a length of time that belies his young age!  Having gained a vast amount of experience with Zurich Assurance, he joined Collingwood Mourton Associates in March 2007.

Recognising that astute financial planning can really make a big difference to people’s lives, Russell is keen to play his part in helping Collingwood Mourton Associates deliver outstanding service and help clients achieve their financial goals.

Russell and wife Joanne married in September 2007 and are expecting their first child in August '08 - there's nothing like getting on with it!  Running features as one of Russell's ‘hobbies’ having successfully completed both the London and Chicago marathons in previous years.  He is also a keen footballer and hopes to be back playing for Huntley FC in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League in the near future following recent knee surgery.
