Our Philosophy
Proactive, not reactive

We believe that planning is everything. We know that no one deliberately sets out to make inadequate provision for their financial future. However, the reality is that the majority of the population operate an ostrich approach to their finances. At Collingwood Mourton Associates we work closely with you to ensure that you don’t become an ostrich. Instead, with our proactive support, you are able to plan ahead and cater for all eventualities.
Independent and Objective
We believe that the best way to serve our clients is to remain wholly independent of any other financial institutions so that we are able to make recommendations driven only by your best interests.
Our practice is fee based, where you pay only for our best advice. We operate a transparent commission policy. Any commission we earn from products you buy will be offset against fees incurred. We will never advise you to change your investments without good reason.

Our Approach
Bespoke
When you work with us you can expect a completely different approach to the typical ‘product driven, commission hungry’ salespeople you may have come across previously in the large financial institutions and High Street banks. We know that you deserve more than to be sold another pension plan or insurance policy, which only addresses part of your financial situation.
Our approach is to deliver a one to one personal service. We will design you a bespoke plan to fit your individual financial requirements.
Logical
We see your financial life as a journey and like any journey there are two crucial facts that we need to know from the outset;

With that in mind we first help you clarify your goals and cost your desired lifestyle. We then help you review and organise any existing arrangements you have.
