Men, Masculinities & More
MALE starts from the belief that many of our society's attitudes about masculinity are harmful to men and boys in a variety of ways, as well as being oppressive to women and children. In this section we aim to bring together a wide range of articles and research that focus on men, masculinities, and gender politics.
We aim to provide men with alternatives to traditional views of men, masculinity, sexuality & gender. We also hope that this section encourages those who work and strive for social change. We will feature articles on key 'men's issues', from fathering and men's health to the relationships between masculinity, class, race and sexuality, to domestic violence.
All articles have been reproduced with permission from individual authors, many of whom are well-known as academics, activists and leaders in their chosen fields.
